Service

Financing & Leasing.

We help structure the right financial wrapper around the aircraft — from traditional asset-based finance to operational leasing models. Eligibility, terms and outcomes depend on the borrower, the asset and the market.

What our financing and leasing service covers

Aircraft finance

Coordination of financing routes for aircraft transactions through established financial partners.

Asset-based financing

Introductions to lenders specialising in aircraft assets, with support around structure, timing and transaction fit.

Finance lease

Longer-term lease structures with defined economic ownership and end-of-term pathways where available.

Wet lease / ACMI

Aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance structures for short- and medium-term operational requirements.

Dry lease

Aircraft-only leasing arrangements where the lessee operates the aircraft under their own operational structure.

Sale & lease-back

Structures that may release capital from an existing aircraft while preserving operational use.

Balloon structures

Target financing with a final instalment may be considered depending on the aircraft, borrower and lender requirements.

Eligibility review

Typical aircraft-finance eligibility often depends on aircraft age, purchase price, borrower profile and registration. Aircraft under 10 years old and above approximately USD 2 million are generally easier to finance; older aircraft may require a different banking route.

Typical parameters

Many aircraft-finance structures are based on terms around 60 months and an equity contribution of approximately 25–30%, subject to lender approval.

Security structure

A registered lien or similar security may be required, depending on jurisdiction, aircraft registration and lender requirements.

Vienna Jets does not provide financing directly. We coordinate with established financial partners and structure transactions to fit the aircraft, the borrower and the intended operation. Classic lease structures are not always available, as residual-value risk remains a key lender consideration. All financing and leasing terms are subject to lender approval and prevailing market conditions.
